MAXIMUM LEVEL OF SECURITY

BULLETPROOF
ARMORING

Our armor light system comes with different levels of protection designed to fit your needs and in compliance with the highest international security standards. It can withstand all types of handguns.

We use light fibers in the body areas, avoiding the use of heavy materials that may cause unpleasant noises and eventually deform the body of the vehicle. Thanks to this process, your vehicle will not suffer any structural changes and you will be able enjoy it as much as the first day. It only adds a weight of 70 kg, which is unique in the market.

These are the different types of armoring we offer for your safety. Each level offers protection against different gun calibers:

Interior and final details

Once the customer’s vehicle enters our transformation plant, a work order is prepared describing the materials to be used and the levels of protection to be added to the car. Then the car armoring stage begins. As a first step, AUTOSEGURO covers the entire surface of the vehicle with 3M™ specialized protective tape together with a fabric that protects the body of the vehicle.

Next, we completely dismantle the interior of the vehicle. All the interior parts are removed and assigned a corresponding number so that nothing is out of place, protecting them with cloth and ribbons. The process continues by measuring the floor, ceiling, doors, allowing us to cut and build the pieces of ballistic material necessary to cover each of these areas.

This process determines the maximum degree of protection requested, working to minimize reengineering of the basic structure in applications and cuts for this type of vehicle. These materials stop penetrations covered by the requested ballistic resistance standards according to the defined threat level.

The different materials are installed in the vehicle (doors, studs and others). All the materials that are handled during the installation have the highest levels of quality according to international standards and have been tested in the main laboratories in the world.

The thermoformed panels are locally manufactured, produced in our own plant, according to established and approved procedures according to ballistic tests carried out in HP White Laboratory Inc. laboratories in the United States.

With just 4.5 kg of weight per square meter, they are the lightest on the national market, while maintaining maximum vehicle protection.

The most important goal in any Armored Self-Insurance installation is to achieve maximum protection for the vehicle and its occupants, at the same time that we care that the vehicle maintains a reasonable weight."

The replacement of the original windows by armored windows occurs, the latter with variable thickness depending on the installation requested by the customer. After installing the glasses, install the windshield and the requested windows, they have a perfect finish, without noting a different installation than the original factory of the vehicle.

In the final step, we will reinstall the vehicle interior as received. Our technicians are trained to preserve the luxury and beauty of the original vehicle, paying attention to every detail.

At the request of the client, special accessories will be installed and the vehicle can also be plotted as requested.

Thanks to the Self-Insurance Armor, the vehicle is fully armored, and maintains its original factory appearance unchanged.
